you'll notice that more soldiers are dying under ohbummer because the terrorists have absolutely no respect or fear of our pretender in chief....
Both numbers are bad.
@tialoca_talks - I have been looking for his forward strategy in afghanistan and iraq, his clearly defined objectives and missions and then his exit strategy. I remember when they use to be a very big deal.
@bobjallen - I found the numbers were also cited by the chicago tribune and abc news Bob.
actually, it is appalling that non-military citizens are being slaughtered at that type of rate as chicago's...the military number is quite low, given it is a military action...
It's like 15k at very least for drunk driving fatalities in the U.S. each year. I've been telling my friends who are about to deply that they're more likely to get mugged and killed here in IL that killed in Iraq. Although, it should be noted that the vast majority of our casualties are maimed or wounded rather than killed.
And it should be noted that car accidents outdo both the maiming and killing ratios of both wars combined. Cars are so terrorists!
I've always said I'm more likely to die in a traffic accident here than on deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan.... People still can't comprehend that a war zone can actually be safer than the highways they travel.
