The only problem with this is in the current political atmosphere Geitner is and will be hailed as a hero for his successful deception. Even if people call for his head, the justification will be made to not only exonerate him, but to commend him on a job well done.
I have to agree with Mr. Irish_Russian with our current government there is no way, even if hell froze over and dead pigs flew, that Geithner will ever face any criminal charge for anything, including if it were discovered that he was a serial killer and child molester, at least he won't while our current leaders are in place. He is in too tight with the occupying force for them to risk cutting him loose and maybe having him talk. Besides, the people in charge of his prosecution undoubtedly agree whole heartedly with his deception tactics.
Am I the only one who continues to find it funny that Obama was supposed to be a guy who very closely examined and vetted every potential appointee and yet every single appointee seems to have a felony offense of some kind?
