If they knew their strength

There was actually a point in time where Senators were considered to be sage-like and their words of wisdom were heeded. Obviously, we are talking B.H. ( Before Harry).
This morning I saw the following quote that reminded me of an age gone by:
A Roman Senator suggested that all slaves wear white armbands to better identify them. "No," said a wiser Senator. "If they see how many of them there are, they may revolt!"

@DirtyAndShaken - I have really been on a lot less, but my traffic picked up through networked blogs. After the first of the year my schedule calms down some as well.
